About our Office in Ft. Worth, TX

Welcome to the office of Dr. Kelly Blair and Dr. Mitch Conditt!

Do you like dental drills? Neither do we! We try to use air abrasion to treat cavities and perform repairs when we can. This technique allows us to gently buffer away decay comfortably for the patient without the added fear of pain or complications. Dr. Kelly Blair and Dr. Mitch Conditt like to take advantage of every opportunity that they have to help those in their care relax while they’re in the office for treatment.

If you would like to get an up-close view of your teeth and other areas that Dr. Blair and Dr. Conditt hope will greatly benefit from braces or an alignment system, they can use an intraoral camera to project an image of your mouth onto a chairside monitor. Many patients appreciate this added diagnostic tool because it gives them better visual evidence of problems that need to be addressed.

In this day and age, you can never be too careful when it comes to your health. Drs. Blair and Conditt agree, which is why they use digital radiography when it’s necessary to take X-rays of their patients’ mouths and teeth. With this technology, you’re exposed to 90% less radiation than you would be with traditional equipment. You can feel at ease in our care because we want to do what’s best for you.

Are you afraid of the dentist? It’s okay to admit that you’ve undergone an uncomfortable past experience or that you have other reasons for feeling worried about your appointment. In fact, we encourage it – otherwise, we’ll have no idea that you may need a little extra assistance relaxing at our practice. For those who need it, Dr. Blair and Dr. Conditt can use three different sedation dentistry systems to put you at ease.

One of the most popular methods of sedation dentistry is nitrous oxide. By inhaling “laughing gas” through a nose mask, a patient will experience an almost euphoric feeling during their appointment. This is generally used for those who become mildly to moderately anxious while at the dentist.

If you need extra help, Dr. Blair and Dr. Conditt can provide you with a prescription for oral conscious sedation. You’ll take this pill the morning of your appointment and feel intensely calm during your examination. This is for moderately fearful patients.

The Wand is a system Dr. Blair and Dr. Conditt can also use when localized anesthetic is needed. This technique applies sedation efficiently and reportedly more comfortably than a simple injection can. Ask Dr. Blair and Dr. Conditt if this practice is right for you when you’re planning your next treatment at our Ft. Worth office.
